How Palm Hill Works

Palm Hill is run by its residents. Home Owners of Palm Hill, Inc. (HOPH) is the cooperative that residents formed in 1984: every home is one share, and the shareholders elect a Board of Directors. The Board makes the decisions. Resident committees look into issues and recommend, two Recreation Clubs run much of the social life at each clubhouse, and a management company handles most of the day-to-day work.

The Board

Elected by the shareholders. Sets the budget, adopts the rules and decides.

Committees

Resident volunteers the Board appoints each year. They look into issues and recommend; the Board decides.

Other Palm Hill Groups and Clubs

Resident-run clubs and volunteer groups. Each runs itself, separate from HOPH and its Board.

Management

The company HOPH hires to run the park day to day.

Residents: contacts and current members for every group are on the Group Contacts and Members page. Meeting videos are on the Committees of Palm Hill page. (You'll be asked to log in.)

Each page is checked with the group's chair or president. See something wrong? Tell the Communications Committee.
