Rules and Regulations Committee

← How Palm Hill Works

Board committee (advises the Board)

The residents who draft and suggest changes to Palm Hill's Rules and Regulations for the Board to adopt.

What it does

  • Drafts new rules and changes to existing ones, often at the Board's request.
  • Hears residents' ideas for rules and changes.
  • Reviews the violation policy for the Board.
  • Writes rule reminders for the LINK.
  • Recent topics: speed bumps, pet rules, artificial turf and stop signs.

Its role at Palm Hill

Under Rule XIX it is the main committee for proposing rules. Only the Board adopts rules, and it may act without the committee's advice. The committee does not enforce rules: the Park Manager does, and the Compliance Committee hears violations.

How it can help you

  • Read the rules: the current set (August 2026) is on the website home page; a printed copy is at the Park Office.
  • Suggest a rule or a change: email the committee or talk to a member, and come to a meeting.
  • Report a possible violation: use the form on the website or at the Park Office.

When it meets

Every two to three months on a weekday, lately Mondays at 1:00 p.m. (each meeting sets the next date), South Clubhouse Board Room and Zoom. Any resident may attend. To speak on an agenda item, file a request to speak before the meeting (3 minutes). Comments from residents also close each agenda. Minutes and videos are on the Committees of Palm Hill page.

Residents: how to reach the Rules and Regulations Committee and who is on it now are on the Group Contacts and Members page (you'll be asked to log in).

Last confirmed: Answered by the Board liaison, November 2026.
